SriLanCan Events is excited to introduce the SriLanCan Events Movie Club, a new initiative dedicated to showcasing art house films from Sri Lanka. Our primary focus is on audiences in Toronto, with plans to reach other cities across Canada as well.

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

The Movie Club is designed to foster a distinctive community for passionate Sri Lankan film enthusiasts residing in Toronto. Through curated screenings of artistic films produced in Sri Lanka, we aim to celebrate the country’s cinematic achievements. Each event will be limited to 100 seats, ensuring an intimate viewing experience while also helping to cover the costs incurred by producers and theatre rentals.

𝗨𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴

We are excited to commence our journey with the presentation of Malaka Dewapriya’s acclaimed film, Bahuchithawadiya බහුචිතවාදියා The Undecided, scheduled to be screened in October. Further details regarding the event will be shared soon.
